CheckMate Working Alone is a mobile application, turns your smart phone into a life saving device. It is designed to provide you a quick and easy way to send a distress alarm including the GPS coordinates to our Emergency Monitoring Center. The GPS coordinates will be updated every minute until the alarm is resolved. Our Emergency Monitoring Center is manned 7/24/365 by trained operators to respond to your distress alarm. CheckMate Working Alone can also be configured to provide a tracking service for the device. Our web interface will display the location of the device on a map when enabled. The device location will automatically update itself according to a user selectable schedule.

The CheckMate Working Alone Man Down alarm feature activates an emergency man down alarm notification if the wireless phone assumes a horizontal position (i.e. the person carrying it falls to the floor). It implements a sensor and evaluates the actual angle of inclination. There are three settings: Low (10 degrees), Med (30 degrees) and High (45 degrees). When the Man Down feature is enabled, If the phone is at an angle as described above for 30 seconds or longer a phase 1 warning triggers. The phone starts vibrating and makes a noise. You then have 30 seconds to cancel the pending alarm by opening the CheckMate Working Alone app and cancelling the pending alarm (after you enter a valid password). If cancelled the phone resets and the whole process starts over. If it is not reset in 30 seconds, an alarm is sent to our Emergency Response Center.

CheckMate Working Alone also links you to your CheckMate Account so that you can manage your check-ins. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
